When do classes begin? All classes will take place between April 1 - May 4, 2007. The specific dates and times are listed under the course description.
Who may register? Registration is open to residents of the Spring Grove Area School District. Non-residents may participate in a program offering, but will be charged a higher fee. There is a discount offered to those that are part of the Spring Grove Regional Parks and Recreation Commission because of the monetary commitment from the municipalities for recreation. Those municipalities currently involved with the commission are Paradise Township and Spring Grove Borough. There may be some age restrictions for some program offerings.
How do I register? You may register in person at the Spring Grove Area Community Center, 50 North East Street, Spring Grove (next to the Spring Grove Area School District Educational Service Center, or by mail. A separate check and registration form must be submitted for each class selected, unless members of the same family are registering in the same class. Credit cards are accepted. Registration Deadline & Late Fee All registrations must be received no later than one (1) week prior to the class start date, or a late fee of $5.00 will be added to the registration fee.
Refunds No refunds for any reason will be made after the registration deadline unless one of the following applies: (1) the class for which you registered is full (2) the class for which you registered is cancelled.
Inclement Weather If inclement weather forces classes to be cancelled, an attempt will be made to contact participants directly. If there is a question as to whether or not a class will be held, please call 225-9733 and listen to the voice recording about weather related cancellations.
What if classes are full? If classes are full at the time your registration is received, your payment will be returned to you.
Cancellation of classes If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment or other reason, you will be notified prior to the first night of class and your payment will be refunded.
Exercise/Physical Activity and/or Diet Classes Participants in any class that requires physical exertion or a change of diet, is encouraged to consult with a physician to determine their level of performance and weight loss limitations.
Child Care Participants are expected to make appropriate arrangements for their children and will not be permitted to take them to their adult education classes.
