Youth/Adult Sports Programs Volleyball (Power) Session 1: Sept 3rd-Oct 22nd (Weds) Spring Grove Intermediate School Session 2: Oct 29th - Dec. 17th (Weds) Spring Grove Community Center Gymnasium 7-9:15pm Instructor: Diane Bahn Fee:$30 /$25-SGRPRC Volleyball played at a challenging Intense pace. Tennis Sept 6th - 27th Saturdays Spring Grove Middle School Tennis Courts 9-10am Instructor: Holly Metzger Fee: $35/$30 SGRPRC Discount Ages 16 and Up (all levels) Enhance and improve your tennis skills while burning calories and get in shape! This is the ultimate high-energy workout! Program includes short dynamic warm-up, cardio workout and a cool down.
Tiny Tennis Class Age:4-5 Sept. 6-27th Saturdays Spring Grove Middle School Tennis Courts 10-10:30am Instructor: Holly Metzger Fee: $55/$50 SGRPRC Discount Class will work on agility movement, hand and eye coordination, balance and stroke development. Youth Tennis Class Age: 6-8 Sept. 6th-27th Saturdays Spring Grove Middle School Tennis Courts 10:30-11:15am Instructor: Holly Metzger Fee:$68/63 SGRPRC Discount Class will learn the proper way to hit forehand and backhand, while learning how to move on the court fun equipment and props will be used to assist the development of balance, agility and coordination. Adult Tennis Clinic Oct. 1, 11, 14, 18, 22 Spring Grove Middle School Tennis Courts 10:15-11:15am Instructor: Holly Metzger Fee: $25/$20 SGRPRC Discount Class is great for beginners who want to learn the game of tennis. Fringed Bracelet Class October 1st-Wednesday Community Center Meeting Room 6-8:30pm Instructor: Jane Knaub Fee: $25/$20 SGRPRC Discount Participants should know how to make a basic bracelet. They will then add seed bead fringe to the bracelet. Participants will be given a supply list when they register.
September 21st Sunday 1-3pm Spring Grove Community Center Meeting Room Instructor: Jane Knaub Fee: $32/$30 SGRPRC DISCOUNT Learn to create Jewery for yourself or for gifts at the Bead Retreat. www.beadretreat.com Instructor will bring the "Blockbuster braclet". "Blockbuster? contains Czech glass, sterling silver and pewter. All the materials needed to create a bracelet will be supplied in the kit. Instructor will provide tools to be used in class. Ages: 10-14 Sept 6-27th Saturdays 9-10am Deer Valley Sporting Goods Store Instructor: Wayne Fee: $25/$20 SGRPRC Discount If Equipment is needed the cost is $5.00 per class This class is for participants to learn the sport of archery. Learn proper techniques on using a bow and how to shoot.
PA Dutch-Award Winning Class Sept 9th-Nov 11th -Tuesdays 6:30-8:30pm Community Center Meeting Room Instructor: Kenneth E. Stough Fee: $25/$20 SGRPRC Discount Interested in the language of PA Dutch? This class gives you the opportunity to learn the pronunciation and meaning of basic works and phrases. This class is designed so participants become acquainted with the language and have fun learning more about it.
Ballroom Dancing Sept 9th - Oct 28th Tuesdays 7-9pm Spring Grove Area Middle School Cafeteria Instructor: William Harman Fee: $65/$60 SGRPRC Discount This class will teach participants how to do dances like the Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, Cha Cha and Rumba. Add some new dances to your dancing vocabulary and have tons of fun!
Sept 4th-Oct. 23rd Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm Community Center Instructor: Pat Koons Fee: $75/$70 SGRPRC Discount This general obedience class will help participants work with their dogs on how to listen, settle, and how to get along with other dogs and people. Dogs will learn to come to their owners when called. Positive training methods will be used. Learn how to walk the dog with out pulling. Food, toys and verbal praise will be used in training. Proof of shots must be presented the first class and dogs should not be present the first night of class.

Outdoor Adventure Programs Kayaking Adventure
September 27th Saturday Lake Marburg, Codorus State Park 3-5pm Fee: Adult $40/$35 SGRPRC Discount(12 yrs and older) Child $30/$25 SGRPRC Discount (Under 12 with an adult) Adult must be 18 Kayaking is fun and healthy. Come learn the basics while enjoying the beauty of Codorus State Park. You will spend 2 hours on the water while your guide provides information about the wildlife and vegetation surrounding this beautiful lake. Outdoor Adventure Nights October 5th or 12th - Sundays Codorus State Park 4-7pm Instructors: AOS Marina Staff Fee: $45/$40 SGRPRC Discount Rock Climbing, Kayaking and Disc Golf all in one night. Spend an hour doing each of these exciting activities. Each of these programs will be lead by an instructor. So come have an adventure you will never forget!
